Deburring

Removing sharp edges from sheet metal.

During the manufacture of sheet metal parts, edges are not always produced without burrs. For stainless steel and thick sheets, it is often necessary to deburr parts to prevent the risk of injury and to guarantee proper fit.

With our machines, we can deburr edges or round off entire parts. Small parts are deburred using a surface technique, and larger parts using a pass-through deburring machine. For very sensitive parts, our employees can ῞hand work῝ a defined edge break on the sheet.

Furthermore, an oxide film forms when oxygen is used during laser cutting, which must be removed before painting or powder coating. Our deburring machines give us the option to remove this film before further processing.
